Dr. Stephen Tillis

Associate Professor of Preaching, NCBTS

Dr. Stephen Tillis is Associate Pastor of Preaching and Discipleship at Cayman Islands Baptist Church and Professor of Preaching at Northwestern Caribbean Baptist Theological Seminary. He holds a B.A. in Bible and Pastoral Ministry from Tennessee Temple University, as well as two degrees from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary: an M.Div. in Christian Ministry and a Ph. D. in Applied Theology with a concentration in Preaching and Leadership. Dr. Tillis served on the Board of Directors for the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Union Gospel Mission. He has written articles for publications such as Church Leaders and The Gospel Coalition. His passion is to train leaders to handle the Scripture well and to communicate it dynamically for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
